Re: Callout Leader Settings - Allow Fixed Attachment Point Setting
Agreed. A "Lock leader connection point" option would be great.
Re: I have duplicate "My Tools" chests?
Same here. Do you have any solution to this?
Re: I have duplicate "My Tools" chests?
Although Bluebeam are working on this, there isn't an estimated date for when there will be a fix. Their suggestion is to save the Toolsets in Dropbox (or whatever you are using) but to keep the profiles in the default folder.
Re: The future of Revu for iOS
Hi Elizabeth,
At a very high level, we will have these features in-place by EOY:
- Access files stored on your device or in Studio (ready for offline situations)
- Add markups with familiar tools
- Use Tool Sets synced from desktop
- Measure with precision using mobile-optimized tools
The Revu iPad retirement is on a separate timeline from our iOS roadmap, but we expect to hit about 80% feature parity by summer 2026.
If there are specific workflows you consider critical for mobile adoption beyond what's already planned, let me know here or shoot me a message. Thanks!
Shawn
Re: Combining legends to include all items
And the first attempt the legend was created from the toolchest the tool came from? are you modifying any properties of the tool? i.e. changing the subject? Here are some snapshots of how it should normally be applied, how you would select the source, and also how you would manually add things to an existing legend. If all this is broken and you are on the latest version, you may need to re-install, but I have a feeling there is a detail were missing here.
Re: The future of Revu for iOS
Looking for more information on this also. The promises referenced above are 6 months old. I just loaded up and attempted to use Bluebeam Cloud from my desktop and IPAD. Project file loading is severly slow ontop of a lack of access to the full Markup list which I personnally view as one of the real difference makes that Bluebeam offered as you could filter down markups and target data sets across the files. While REVU IOS is dated it accesses all these files with little effort and offers nearly all the functionality of the desktop app making it a great field companion as well as allowing our Field personell to participate actively and drive needed changes directly to the office. Bluebeam Cloud offers none of this and is being referenced as the new replacement. It really doesnt seem to be able to tie its own shoes and walk. Much less be the field app we need. Bluebeam Management needs to review this offering and align its use cases, the Documentation for training, and the broad feature set before they sunset and application that works.
As a Desktop application i love what Bluebeam brings to the table but this mobile side is disjointed, poorly organized and most importantly not aligned to the needs of the customer base. It would be better at this point for the company to simply state that they don't offer a mobile solution and just run desktop licenses.
I look forward to being proven wrong in the coming weeks with real updates, timelines and feature improvements from your teams.
Re: Automated page labels via bookmarks from Revit print dialog
Click and drag to un-nest the bookmarks.
Well, at least I learned this trick now, so there's that.
Re: Automated page labels via bookmarks from Revit print dialog
👀 I'm interested. DM me?
I'm specifically looking for a solution that works for everyone, not just those who are tech savvy.
Re: Automated page labels via bookmarks from Revit print dialog
Hey Liz, big fan of your tutorials. I have a script that does this. It runs in Python but should be doable for a rockstar like yourself. Let me know!
Re: Properties tab specific to selected markup not appearing
This is a glitch and is not typical. Easiest first step is to open your preferences and reset your profile:
After that it it's maybe a reinstall unless someone else here has an alternate solution. My typical go to is when Bluebeam behaves in a way that is unexpected, reset the profile.
